This is not your father's electric razor. Philips has raised the bar with the Sense of Touch 2g 1160cc/42 Norelco Electric Shaver. The razor takes a little 'space, so if you live in an urban apartment with little space to be ready to be more creative. But apart from this minor annoyance, this is a really good razor. I have found to be close enough shave razors over the past, and also handle pivots to fit the contours of your face. Think couture razor that slips perfectly to your face. If you are worried about facial hair and want to save on expensive than disposable Gillette then this is the way to go. I still prefer the Gillette razors, but use the power from time to time. My complaint of electric shavers int he past that time were often not really get a smooth coat, like a child behind. I found this razor close, with no irritation or bumps. So if your worried about this razor might be another way to go.

I always had a bad feeling shavers make me think of my grandparents and always make me think of old spice after shave. I tried electric shavers in the past (always hand me downs) used them once or twice and always got rid of them.
The Philips hand has come a long way from what I was used. First there is a charge longer than any of my razors smaller than I used for my goatee. It loads quickly, which I appreciate. It also gives me a very smooth shave with minimal effort and so far I was afraid of razor burn.
For people who have doubts about electric razors I would suggest that Philips Norelco give the proof will be surprised.

My experience with electric shavers before this was disappointing. I've never been able to find one which gave a close call. especially around my neck. I am pleased to report that the Phillips Norelco Electric Shaver 1160cc/42 SensoTouch 2d is an exception to this rule. I've been using the razor to shave the next two weeks and each was better than the last. They are now able to say that the razor shaves like a blade, but without scraping my skin like blades do, so my skin is rough. The shaver is comfortable and, by varying the angle of the razor, I was able to get my whole head shaved as well as my cheeks and chin. Including the trimmer is easy to attack and is useful for cutting sideburns. Also included is a razor cleaning system keeps the shaver suitable for use. Finally, Phillips offers a solution to the problem of not being able to shave razor because of losing his office; plug in the charger for a razor and shaving a few minutes with rapid charge the razor so that it works for a few minutes, long enough to do a quick shave. If the contours of the face have not been provided to the contours of electric shavers in the past, or, neck hair grows in a circular pattern that defeats any electric razor you used before, then I recommend giving this shaver a try as I am in a similar situation and the razor worked well for me.

I have used electric shavers in the past and was not the best experience with them. I never could get a very close shave. I had a much better success with this razor. There is nothing closer shave my old Mach 3, of course, but it is very fast and convenient and closest shave you can expect an electric razor for shaving. After using it almost every day for almost three months is still strong and it remains my choice for my morning shave daily. I have a face somewhat sensitive and this shaver does not irritate my face much at all, even a dry shave.
This razor has a lot of parts and I honestly do not use most of them except for the smaller charger that is included. The system of Clean Jen is beautiful and useful for cleaning the razor each time, but by removing the razor blades and rinse with water is very simple with this razor. I usually load the razor after each use so I have not really had to test the ability of the razor to hold a charge, but I had no problems using it for 10 minutes or so. I also like the fact that the charger off when the shaver is fully charged. This razor also feels solid and well made hand. I would recommend this shaver to anyone looking for a good quality, affordable rasonably electric razor.

I used a knife for life but are tired of the hassle of shaving. So I was very excited to get this, but was very disappointed because it was more of a pain to use this.
It took just as long or longer to shave with this as it does with the blade.
It 'was also very hard to shave under the chin and neck with this. Not to mention there would be random hair here and there that the razor could not cut for some reason.
The 3 times I used it I had to take my knife to finish the job.
I ended up returning the product and was very disappointed. The other side of the coin though, I realized how amazing a real razor and I never will complain again.

I have not used a razor Norelco for almost 20 years, after spending a disposable blade. When the opportunity came to try a new header I triple jump. They used to give a really clean shave, smooth, without the need of cleaning solution. Unfortunately, the quality of shaving is no longer what it once was. Even after a month, I have yet to go beyond the beard for 5 minutes and then my neck raw.
If I return to again I might try an electric razor rather than a razor blade rotating sheet. Norelco This simply does not accumulate.

I was pleasantly pleased with my Philips Norelco razor 1160cc/42 Sense of touch with Jen Clean system. I have been using an electric razor for over twenty years. I find that this razor gives a closer shave than any of my Braun shavers have done in the past.
Some of the features I love about this razor. The three shaving heads give a space to move up and down to stay very close to the contours of the face. This has helped with all the head to be able to rotate axially as well, which helps provide a close shave. The ergonomic body shaver is very pleasant to use. Fits right in my hands and gives me maximum control by shaving my time shorter and help in providing a hair. Recharges super fast. If rum totally out of juice, you can charge it for 5 minutes, which is the time to get it shave off 1. Not pictured, which comes with a detachable trimmer burning side.
One feature that I found of no significance for me is the system of cleaning liquid. For me, the cleaning system does a great job, it's really excessive. It 'pretty easy to take your head out of shaving or brushing the debris out. I suspect that will use the system for cleaning fluid sparingly considering it is really easy to use the brush.
Overall, I rate this shaver very high, because it is the closet I had a beard with an electric razor in 20 years!
